Software scope in five steps. Everything below is also in the app under More → How it works.
Getting started
- 01
Create a project
Tap “New project”, give it a name, a client and the estimate unit. Start blank or from one of the three templates, or tap “See an example” to explore a finished project.
- 02
Add modules and stories
Add modules (epics), then user stories inside them: a title, “As a … I want … so that …”, acceptance criteria, priority, value, effort and an optimistic and cautious estimate.
- 03
Prioritise
In Priorities, tap a story to move it between Must, Should, Could and Won't have. Switch to Value × effort to see quick wins and stories to reconsider.
- 04
Check the estimate
The Estimate tab adds everything up by module, by priority and for three scenarios. Set a rate and a contingency in the project settings for an indicative cost in pounds.
- 05
Agree and export
In History, save a baseline at each sign-off and compare versions. Use the export button for the PDF, Markdown or CSV specification.
Good to know
- Codes
- Stories are numbered US-001, US-002 … and modules M01, M02 …. A deleted code is never used again, so references in documents stay unambiguous.
- Ready stories
- A story counts as ready when it has at least one acceptance criterion and an estimate. The progress bar on each project shows how many are ready.
- Reasons for changes
- Write a reason in the story editor before saving, or add it later to any entry in the history.
- Search
- Search finds projects and stories by text, #tag and dates such as 18/10/2026, 18 Oct 2026 or Oct 2026.
- Backup
- More → Backup and data saves a JSON file through the share sheet or into a folder you choose. Import adds the projects or replaces all data; both can be undone straight away.
- Deleting
- Deleted stories, modules, baselines and projects can be restored with “Undo” in the message that appears. “Delete all data” removes everything from the device.
Contact
Questions, feedback, a bug or a privacy request: write to [email protected]. Please mention the app version (currently 1.0.0) and your Android device. We read every message.
The app does not send anything itself, so we cannot see your projects. If a problem concerns a project, you can attach a backup or an exported file to your email yourself.
